Daniel Adams, MD - Medical Director/Physician
Daniel Adams is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases involving the blood vessels. He is the medical director of the Red Sands Vein and Laser Institute. He also serves as the medical director of the vascular lab and the chairman of the radiology department at Dixie Regional Medical Center.
Dr Daniel Adams is a local boy. Being raised in St George Utah, he attended both Dixie High School and Dixie State College. Upon returning from an LDS mission in Houston Texas, he finished his undergrad at the University of Utah. Tufts University in Boston was his next stop for medical school. He then completed an internship including research at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City before returning to Boston for Residency.
It was in Boston, and then a specialized fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, that he received training to become an Intervential Radiologist. Here he trained in the treatment of venous disease.
Dr Adams has held many leadership roles including Chief Resident at Tufts University Medical School and is now the Medical Director of the Vascular Lab at DRMC, Medical Director of Red Sands Vein and Laser Institute and the Chairman of the Radiology Dept at DRMC.
When he is not wearing one of his many hats, he enjoys spending time with his wife Anne and their 4 boys ranging in ages from 4-10. He also enjoys mountain biking in his spare time.
