What to expect/ how long will it take/ how many treatments will I need?
You can expect each procedure to be about 60 minutes.
The number of procedures needed will be based on the extent of improvement desired by each patient. We typically recommend a series of at least 3. Each treatment can be done 4 weeks apart.
Is it Painful?
It is a minimally invasive procedure so some pain can be expected. However a Pharmacy grade numbing cream is applied before the procedure so that most patients have very little if any discomfort. Patients tyipically do not complain of discomfort.
It’s only fair to say that the day of the procedure most patients experience mild redness and on ocassion there may be pinpoint bleeding and bruising. Often times on the second day patients can expect slight erythema with mild pinkness where the skin has been treated. By the third day the skin may be a little dry but all side effects are typically subsided.
